Packet Library

I am pleased to announce the creation of a very modest packet library.  Based on the donation of Mike KC5 NMP, we now have a library with the following titles.

We are willing to loan these out for 2 months at a time.  One at a time.

HF Digital Handbook – Steve Ford WB8IMY – This includes more that just packet.  Fairly current material.  Good read if interested in Digital.  One of my favorites.

Your Packet Companion – Steve Ford again – Excellent starter packet book and one of my favorites.  Also available in the Springfield Public Library System.

Mastering Packet Radio – Dave Ingram K4TWJ – A bit dated but looks like it covers most of it.

Practical Packet Radio – Stan Horzepa WA1LOU – Looks to be pretty good.  This book is currently check out to me  : ) KQ0Q

Your Gateway to Packet Radio – Stan Horzepa again – This book is about 7 years older then Practical above.  As such, the info is a little less useful especially for a beginner.

Thats it.  We also have some free stuff as follows

PicoPacket Tech Ref Manual – If you have this device and need this manual, let us know.

PacComm Operating Manual – Ditto above.

MultiComm Termial Program Software – Ditto above

NO Code Plus Study Guide 1997 – by Gordon West.  Pretty dated.  If you want it, its yours.

World Radio TV Handbood 1995 – This is a listing of broadcasts.  Totally usless except maybe for warmth from a fire.  This will be pitched in two months if not claimed.

US Repeater MapBook 1995 – Interesting but certainly out of date.  This too will be pitch in two months if not claimed.

General Class License Manual 2002 – Out of date a bit but still useful if looking for another study angle.  Its yours if you want it.
